lyrics

Where Life Will Lead You:

conceived in love but born into - the fearful arms of a mother

who wanted nothing more than to - shield me from another

but as I grew - so did the light - in my eyes they took from me

and placed it down inside my heart - I now am blind but once could see

the light did keep me warm inside - while others spoke of destiny

but as I grew no matter how - hard I tried I could not see

this light transplant of the heart - my body did reject from me

I embraced the world like a drunken fool - and all the pleasures she had for me....

with the world torn open I ripped out the light - placed in my heart unwillingly

Lifted it up in front of the world - to light the path I could not seek

I've carried this cross as far as I can - on my heart unwillingly

now is the time to make my own life - not knowing where each path will lead.....

Oh this light of mine. Light of my eyes.
I'm gonna let it shine. I'm gonna let it shine.....

about

Auxiliary Voice Dallas, Texas

Auxiliary Voice started a few years back when Justin Young (bass guitar) and Matthew Hittle (guitar & vocals) were living in Chicago and decided to create a new project that was loud, ambient and dark - yet still beautiful... Finding their sound took them moving back to Dallas and Tony Webb joining on lead guitar. EJ soon to follow on drums and Kristin Leigh on keys & vocals. ... more
